About Annie
Annie Chieu has been instructing mathematics since 2005. She graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a sequence in education. Her career began in Illinois, where she taught high school math for 3 years. After moving to Texas, she taught at Sachse High School. Because of her passion for working with smaller groups of students, Annie became Center Director at Mathnasium. She is now private tutoring in person and online full time.

I discuss with both the student and parent about their goals: short term and long term. We converse about the student's strengths and weaknesses and how I can help the student progress. From there, I work with the student directly and evaluate as we cover material together.
I have worked with students in pre-K through college Calculus. I work with students that have learning differences, such as dysgraphia or ADHD. Ultimately, I customize each tutoring session according to the students needs.
