About Kim
I love building on a student’s strengths. I have a degree in special education as well as mathematics.
I have worked with students from preschool through high school; special needs through AP calculus.
Where there is a will to learn, there is a way.
I was a shy child, fearful of new experiences and new people. Life pushes those fears and obstacles right in front of you. Facing and overcoming those challenges is exhilarating and empowering. Math can be challenging for many, it is my privlige to help people face and overcome that challenge
As a math major in college, I got a job at the school’s math resource center. Math had always came easy to me. Working with students day after day, watching their struggle and seeing their determination inspired me to get my teaching certificate.
I have a BA in philosophy with a minor in math. PA certification in preK -4 special education with a math specialty. Also a PA certification in secondary math$30
