About Debra
I taught for 30 years and have taught every subject and every grade except Kindergarten and first grade.
I have tutored privately for about 4 years. My biggest accomplishment was last year when I helped 2 - first in their family - to graduate high school. They were behind in their credits so I taught them in the subjects they needed.
I am also proud of a tutoring a third grader who was 2 years behind academically and with hard work she is now on grade level.
I like to tutor in a library or at my home. In the summer I like to tutor in the morning.
I was ingluenced by one of my teachers. I thought she was a terrible teacher- very demeaning and I wanted to be a teacher who inspires.
