About Michael

My name is Michael Swanson and I am a mechanical engineer currently practicing in the steel industry. I received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech where I also served as an engineering mentor. I have extensive experience in mathematics (prealgebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus) and am open to teaching from a grade school to post high-school level.

I am passionate about learning myself and want to make the learning process enjoyable and rewarding for others. I tailor methods to individual's learning types to make the learning experience more tangible. I am open to improvement and welcome both parent and student feedback.
