About Laurel
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Winona State University. I have a year of experience in the medical device industry, and have been working in an Anatomic Pathology laboratory as a Histology Technician for the past two and a half years. Helping to teach and train new hires in my lab is one of my responsibilities, and I love explaining the intricacies of what we do in pathology. Working in this position has helped me realize my passion for working with others one-on-one to help them understand new ideas.
I enjoy continuously learning new things and sharing my knowledge. Finding creative ways to explain new concepts, and helping others understand what wasn't making sense is so exciting! I love the moment it finally "clicks."
