About Anshul
Hello there! Having been an academic tutor for 8 years, I believe I have the experience and motivation to prepare you for your academic courses and exams. During four years of high school, I volunteered as a tutor for local schoolchildren. I continued to pursue teaching opportunities throughout university, becoming a teaching assistant for biology courses and an MCAT tutor. These experiences taught me how to prepare and deliver simple, organized, and effective lessons for a wide variety of academic disciplines, including sciences, mathematics, and humanities. As such, I personalize lessons to the unique needs and goals of each student.
About Me: I graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude from Rice University in 2021. At Rice, I pursued a pre-medical track as part of the Rice-Baylor Medical Scholars BS/MD program, while majoring in anthropology. This July I will be studying medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine. Throughout high school and university, I have taken a wide variety of courses in both humanities and STEM fields. In high school, I achieved 5's on all 10 of my AP courses, 100th percentile scores on all 3 of my SAT subject tests (Math II, Biology M, Chemistry), a 35 on my ACT, and was a National Merit Scholar and valedictorian. In college, I scored in the 100th percentile on my MCAT, scoring perfect scores on 3/4 sections.
I sincerely thank you for considering me as a tutor; it is a privilege I do not take lightly. I look forward to hearing from you and helping you achieve your academic goals!
During four years of high school, I volunteered as a tutor for local schoolchildren. Every Sunday, elementary-school, middle-school, and high-school students would travel to our high school for academic guidance. At the beginning of the school year, I was partnered with one student. We began by setting achievable and personalizable milestones, such that the student could achieve his overall goal. The experience was a wonderful introduction about the joys of tutoring. I found little else as satisfying as helping students suceed academically. I continued to pursue teaching opportunities throughout university, becoming a teaching assistant for biology courses and an MCAT tutor.

As an experienced tutor, I have found it is helpful to first understand the exact needs and goals of new students. By personalizing each lesson to the unique interests of each student, I seek to make every class enjoyable and effective. I know it can be anxiety-inducing to seek academic help, and so I hope to make this transition as easy and helpful as possible. Through this constant communication and aid, I hope to help new students achieve constant progress towards their academic and professional goals
All kinds! I have worked with students from elementary-school, middle-school, high-school, and university. I have tutored students in a wide variety of academic disciplines, including STEM, humanities, and test-prep courses.
Find a teacher who makes the tutoring process as enjoyable and effective as possible!
