About Alexis
Hi, I'm Alexis. I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. I tutor students in math as a way of encouraging them that math is a subject they can conquer.
Excelling in math opens up opportunities for them in the future - such as becoming an engineer! I've tutored for 10+ years (5 years as a certified mathematics tutor on a university campus) - both at a tutoring center and private tutoring lessons. I believe every student is capable of excelling in math! I'd love to meet with you to see if I would be a good fit for your needs!
With the COVID-19 pandemic, I am able to assist families with virtual tutoring and education help. We can use your preferred method of virtual learning such as Skype, Facetime, Microsoft Teams, etc. I'm happy to help with homework or perform virtual teaching of math lessons.
I have a B.S. in Mechcanical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. I was a certified math tutor on my university campus working in our tutoring center for 5 years.

Details
I charge a flat rate of $30 an hour for the first hour and $15/half hour intervals beyond that. If a family wants to have re-occuring sessions or has more than one student, we can discuss pricing.
