About Adaeze

My service is fun and interactive and will involve helping the student think about the topic in new ways.

I enjoy connecting with students and remembering myself in the stage that they were in. For me, it feels like only a few years ago. This gives me a sense of nostalgia as I help them with topics that I once struggled with, and eventually mastered.

I have tutored in volunteering settings with student organizations like National Society of Black Engineers. I have also been hired for a tutoring directly by a local teacher.

I have my Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering. I have taken extensive courses in math from Algebra to Calculus 4, as well as many sciences including Physics I and Physics II, Economics, Statistics, Biology and Chemistry. I also excel in English writing skills, grammar, editing and proofreading.

About the lesson

I like to get a good understaning of where the student is at and how he or she feels about the subject. From there, I approach their direct problem areas and ways we can improve.

I have worked with High school and elementary students. I know that I can apply the skills that I have learnedin those instances to middle school students as well.

I would advise them to look for a teacher that has experience in their needed area.

A recent event that I am fond of was when my immediate family came togerther to celebrate my father's birthday. Being able to surprise my father, was a great way to feel fulfilled and happy with my family.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should be able to name specific problem areas and topics that they may be struggling wiht. It is also helpful to tutors when students bring example problems and scenarios.
