About John

I am a senior mechanical engineering student at University of Central Florida. Throughout my time at UCF, most of my courses I have taken involved math or applications of math to tackle engineering problems. I am a student so I understand the struggle of trying to learn something difficult. i will teach you using the methods i utilized to be successful in my math courses. And i will break down all formulas and concepts to the very detail to help you understand better

I used to teach my peers who had difficulty in math and one of them suggested that I should tutor find a way to tutor other students and that's how I found out about this platform.

I am a senior mechanical engineering student at University of Central Florida. Throughout my time at UCF, most of my courses I have taken involved math or applications of math to tackle engineering problems. I am a student so I understand the struggle and of trying to learn something difficult.

About the lesson

I like to know about your background and goals. I will like to give them an idea of my background. I am also very interested in what they want to take out from the session and what process have they been using in the past to understand math.

I worked with my peers who are college students. I have also worked with high school students that preparing to go to college.

The advice I will give a student is to know the background of your teacher and know if the teacher is someone you can easily relate to. You can do this by having a correspondence via email or text with the teacher before you hire.

I am always happy to learn new concepts that are directly applicable to life's problem. Just recently learning about Vibrations and the importance of vibrations in engineering. And how knowing an objects' oscillations can make you understand how to design a system better.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should think about what they want to learn and why they really want to learn that particular concept. And also think about their if they have the patience and right attitude to sit with a tutor for sessions that can go from an hour to 2 hours
