I am a uniquely qualified Math and Science teacher, speciallizing in Grades K-12.

-Licesned secondary science teacher in Nevada and Florida.
Above all, I strive to make my lessons relatable and fun! I love teaching and love to see my students progress and succeed.
I started tutoring my peers in high school and loved the feeling of helping others around me succeed. I began substitute teaching while completing my undergraduate work in pre-med biology. I fell in love with teaching and never looked back. I am now employed at the private school from which I graduated as valedictorian in 2009.

I begin with a free consultation, where I assess students' goals and what is required to achieve those goals. I then work with the student and parent(s) to develop a plan and schedule for our lesson.
I prefer shorter and more frequent sessions, which I believe help students maintain better focus and see better results. I DO NOT believe in nor provide lessons longer than 90 minutes at a time.
Everything from Grade 1 (all subjects) to Grade 12 Earth Science.
Students who succeed in Math and Science do so because they strive to truly understand the material. Memorization is a shortcut to success and does not lead to long term mastery. I would advise students to only pursue tutoring if they truly wish to work to understand the material they are studying, rather than simply for a test (you can do that on your own).
