About Katie

I'm very flexible in terms of my schedule (especially if you're open to virtual tutoring sessions) and also learning styles. I've often had to find different sources to learn from if my teacher's explanation wasn't enough, so I understand that sometimes a new point of view is all you need to make something "click," and I have personal experience in finding or creating that alternative explanation.

I've liked math since I began learning it in school, and I like teaching it as well. Being able to help someone understand a subject I love has always been enjoyable for me.

I've always really liked math and was asked by a teacher from where I went to for grade school if I could tutor one of her students, and I found that I really enjoyed it and was able to help her do well. After that, I just picked up tutoring jobs around my neighborhood and school.

I've tutored students in prealgebra, algebra, trigonomety, precalculus, and calculus, as well as taken college-level courses in math.
