About Angela

I understand that everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses, but I want to improve those weaknesses. I love learning and I'm hoping to pass that on to you!

I love helping children grow. It is frustrating when you don't get something, but I know how rewarding it is to see hard work pay off.

I have three younger brothers, I have been teaching my whole life. When I started college teaching seemed like a perfect fit for me.

I have been teaching for 5 years. Most of the time has been online. I was a Head Start teacher for 2 years, and then started working with VIPKid. I am still with VIPKid but I am currently teaching 5th grade with EVSC. I am licensed to teach up to 6th grade. I also received my Master's in Education in 2020.

About the lesson

First, I would like to talk to the parents about what growth they would like to see. Depending on the age of the student I would ask them what they would like to improve as well.

We will then have some getting to know you time to help the student feel comfortable with me. During this time I will also be assessing where the student is, and how to get them where we would like to be.
