About Abbey

Hello! My name is Abbey and I graduated in 2019 with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education. I am a certified Elementary Teacher with experience as a student teacher and substuitute. This education and experience makes me a great Tutor for your child and I look forward to meeting you!

I went to College and received my degree in Elementary Education. However, for as long I can remember, I have been volunteering in the childrens ministry at my church and this has also given me some educational experience on a volunteer level! :)

I have a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education and a minor in Early childhood education. I am a certified teacher with over 160 hours as a student teacher and about a year of substitute teaching experience.

About the lesson

Hello! I like to introduce myself to my students via email/chat and I request the subject matter and materials you need help with. That way, we don't waste any time during our first tutoring session and you can get the most for your money!

I have worked with students from Pre-K through 8th grade!

I would advise you to choose a tutor whose priority is to help you grow in an educational sense, but also as a person! Your tutor should strive to help you achieve your academic goals as well as care about you as an individual. :)

Recently I experience my first Mardi Gras! My family was able to visit and I got to spend a lot of quality time with my friends which was great!

Details

I charge $40 an hour for one student and +$15 for every student after that. For example, if there are two students during a one hour period because you have two children you need me to tutor, it will be $55 total for both students.
