About Al
Hello! I am a math PhD with over a decade of experience in tutoring and mentorship at various levels, including high school, college and post-graduate level. I enjoy teaching various Math and Stats subjects including (pre-) Algebra, Geometry, (pre-) Calculus, Matrix Algebra, Statistics, Econometrics and Machine Learning. I can also help you with projects and assignments using business applications like MS Excel and MS Access, or programming languages such as R, Python and SAS.
My teaching philosophy is based on the notion that math is fun and practical; the best way to learn Math is by doing it. Through personal experience, I truly believe that learning math is a highly profitable investment for any individual both intellectually and professionally.
