About Suzanne

My name is Suzanne Hodgson. I am a certified teacher. I am a retired classroom teacher. I love teaching and I have over fifteen years of experience teaching math. I am fun, but professional and I can help math students succeed.

My rates are $30/hour.

When you pay for four lessons in advance, you will get 5 lessons. That is $120 for 5 lessons or $24 per lesson.

Does your child need some extra help in math? Or do you need help in your basic math classes? I can help! I love math! With some one-on-one attention, I can help find those concepts in which the student is struggling and work on those. Then, when he/she understands the math, they will like it. My favorite subject is Algebra; but I can also help with Geometry, fractions, ACT test or SAT test or GED test preparation.

If your student is struggling, give Suzanne a call or text at 405-four45-eight 359 or email me. I am available Tues, and Thurs, after school or evenings. We can meet at your home or mine. But I have found that it works well to meet at the public library. I can meet at either Norman public library.

About the lesson

Mathematics lessons offered by Suzanne are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Norman. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.

Perfect! My children have been tutored by Suzanne Hodgson for several years. My 16 year old went from a “C” in Algebra to an “A”. Mrs. Hodgson got him through Algebra 1, 2, and Geometry. He did very well, in spite of Covid closures, quarantines and virtual schooling. Mrs. Hodgson has also tutored my 14 year old from pre- Algebra to Geometry and he has also done very well with her help. Mrs. Hodgson meets kids where they are in their studies, and is able to quickly figure out where they need support. As a retired math teacher, she is able to take complex problems and break them down step by step. Mrs. Hodgson is able to make the abstract concrete. In addition, she is flexible with scheduling times. My kids are very glad to have her as a tutor. Now there is no panicking when they don’t understand something in math class. They know they can just ask Mrs. Hodgson. We will continue to use Mrs, Hodgson’s tutoring services for the rest of their school years.
