About Howard

I have successfully tutored maths, physics and chemistry to 29 students at 21 different high schools and 26 students at 20 different universities including Harvard, Columbia, and Georgetown. I have a Ph.D. in chemistry and I taught chemistry and calculus at a community college and maths, physics and chemistry in high schools.

I enjoy seeing students master material that they thought was difficult. When necessary, I review prior material so that they are comfortable with handling new problems. My students comment on the fact that I am patient and easy to work with. When the opportunity is available, I also work ahead with them, so that when that material is covered in class, they are not seeing it for the first time.

I provide tutoring to high school and college students in maths, chemistry and physics. I have a Ph.D. in chemistry and I taught chemistry and calculus at a community college. I have successfully tutored students in maths, chemistry and physics and all my students improve their grades after working with me. I am very patient and I help students master difficult concepts. One of my students graduated valedictorian in her high school after working with me on maths, chemistry and physics. Another of my students scored a 5 (highest mark) in AP Chemistry and a 4 in AP Calculus. One of my college students scored an A in multivariable and vector calculus after working with me. Another student attending NYU scored an A in Physics 2 after working with me. Currently I am tutoring students in high school multivariable calculus, college complex analysis, college physics and college chemistry. About the lesson

All my tutoring is done online.

I ask students what areas they are having the greatest difficulty in and we focus there. If necessary, I review previous material to provide a solid grounding in the topic.

I help the student understand how to approach a problem and provide tips and shortcuts wherever applicable.

After each session is complete, I email the student a set of notes describing what we worked on
