About Brandon
My name is Brandon, and I have been in the tutoring business ever since I was in high school. I began as a peer tutor for classmates my senior year, then began tutoring college students at both my local communtiy college and then at SDSU where I studied electrical engineering. Now, I work full-time as an engineer for the US Air Force, but still very much enjoy tutoring on the side! Stop y and try out a virtual session!

I have tutored all ranges of students; from high school to adults, and the best reward is watching their success. Many people believe they're just not cut out for mathematics, but I disagree. With time and pressure, and plenty of helpful YouTube videos, anyone can be well-versed in mathematics. Helping students achieve this skill and becoming natural problem solvers is what I enjoy most.

To begin, I try to understand the student's study habits and motivation. From there, I test out their skills and where they need work so I can more effectively walk them through their difficulties. I don't do the student's work for them, but rather give them hints here and there to start turning the gears in their minds to problem solve on their own. Each student's progress rate varies, but their progress is exponential after a bit of patience.
