About Samantha

Hello, I'm Samantha. I graduated from Nichols College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Criminal Justice Management. I then went to Worcester State University, receiving two Master of Education degrees, one in History and the other in Moderate Special Needs. I began my career as a substitute teacher, moving up to an instructional assistant, and then becoming a special education teacher. Over the past ten years, I have been able to work with many amazing teachers, all with different teaching styles and methods to ensure the strongest comprehension of the subject matter at hand.

In my most recent teaching position, I developed highly effective lesson plans, tailored information to diverse audiences, and created differentiated and/or modified performance assessments that were tailored to each student. I've designed and implemented dynamic and highly impactful curriculums for a wide range of academic subjects (e.g. English, Math, Science), and have received positive feedback from parents and fellow educators alike for my abilities in the classroom.

During my ten years of teaching in middle and high school, I have developed a passion and personal commitment to helping my students succeed. I have expertise in both written and verbal communication with a profound ability to distill complex information to ensure strong learning and comprehension. I have exceptional organizational skills and a drive to continuously learn and excel in the field of teaching. It is my desire to continue learning that benefits my students the most. I believe each student has a unique learning style that can be used to develop problem-solving skills to overcome any challenges they may face in the classroom. My teaching style demonstrates dedication to fostering a positive learning environment for all students and maximizing individual student performance.
