About Rinku
Hello! My name is Rinku Skaria, and I am an MD/Ph.D. graduate at the University of Arizona. I earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Physiology and Business Management and received the Outstanding Senior Freeman medal for the UA and the Eller College of Management. After graduation, I started medical school and completed my Ph.D. in Physiological Sciences with a focus on cardiovascular research.
Over the years, I have greatly enjoyed mentoring and tutoring middle school, high school, and undergraduate students in various subjects including math and science. I have learned each student has a unique way of learning, and I change my teaching style according to his/her/their needs. Whether it is presenting visual representations or providing examples, I strongly believe formulating and integrating concepts with teach-back methods foster a deeper understanding, stimulate a passion for learning, and build a collaborative learning environment.
