About Cody
Hello all! I am a college student currently working on my Bachelor's Degree in Economics. I plan to teach mathematics at the middle school level after receiving my degree. I have tutored for about 5 years and my students have been able to improve greatly. Understanding the concepts of math can be difficult at first, but with my guidance students are able to have success mastering these new skills.
I am currently working as a Paraeducator at Harden Middle School and am learning about what works and what doesn't.
I enjoy seeing students learn and I aim to improve students' overall attitudes towards school.

On the first visit, I have to assess what the student's needs and goals are. Questions I may have include:
"Are you preparing for a big test?"
"If so, are there certain topics you would like to go over?"
"Is there a complete list of assignments to do before x date?"
I have worked with students of all ages. I have instructed students in almost all levels ranging between children in elementary school and adults passing the GED. (high school equivalency test)
