About Sarah

I have taught kindergarten for 5 years and 4th grade for 3 years. I have successfully helps many students in the classroom. Looking to tutor a few students throughout the week.

I love the moment that a child gets it. It just clicks. I also love when a child makes growth and are proud of themselves. I believe that every child can learn you just have to find the right way to teach them.

I have a bachelors in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I have wrote district wide curriculum for kindergarten and fourth grade. I am also trained in Wilson's Reading Program and Pathways Reading.

About the lesson

The typically process would be to start by building a relationship with the student. If you do not have a relationship they are not going to look forward to coming or enjoy learning. Next I would figure out what areas they need to work on and find ways to teach that child the skills that they are missing. I would also expect open lines of communication with parents on the progress that we are making.
