About Tracie
My name is Tracie. I am a certified math teacher with 27 years experience. My credentials include:
BS in Mathematics Masters in Education Administration Educational Specialist in Curriculum & Instruction
I currently teach 9 grade mathematics (Algebra 1 & Honors Geometry. I can teach most high schools math courses with proficiency and college algebra.
I am only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Weekends may be an option. I will meet at the library and can do online tutoring.
I enjoy the celebration students get when they are finally able to make good "math connections." Being a math educator of 27 years, I have learned how to "look out" for certain errors that students oftentimes make.
I enjoy personalizing the tutoring experience in such a way that the students enjoy the learning. Tutoring should not be a task that students hate, but an opportunity for them to express their fustrations and work on how to understand concepts.
