About Elizabeth
I have an Associates degree in Science and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. During my schooling I had the opportunity to study a variety of subjects as well as to tutor my peers. I am a certified tutor with two years of experience. Professionalism, compassion, and patience is what I offer while helping my students aquire the knowledge they need to succeed.
I began tutoring while working on my Bachelor's degree. A fellow student approached me for private tutoring. I began working for the university I attended and recieved my certification during the two years I was there and continued my own private tutoring after graduation.

During the first session I spend time discussing with the student what their strengths in the subject are and to set goals for their weak areas. It is also important for me to know how much time they are putting into the subject outside of regular class time and tutoring. Knowing interests and hobbies helps me to tailor examples to the student for a better understanding of how the subject material is relevant.
I have worked with ages ranging from five to sixty years old.
To make sure the teacher is knowledgable of the subject and of resources. Teacher's should also have a passion for what they are teaching and are patient with their students.
