About Edwin
As a degreed, and licensed mechanical engineer, I will teach you how to think, work, and solve problems like myself to make any subject an easy A.
I find ways to make the problems my students work jump out the page and make them relatable and understandable to build powerful critical thinking abilities that will be utilized throughout their lives.
I graduated ODU with my bachelor’s in mechanical engineering degree (3.93 GPA) and truly loved being in school. Following graduation, I began working for the defense industry building nuclear powered navy ships as a full-time degreed and licensed mechanical engineer in training by the state of Virginia. I utilize practical math and science on a day to day to resolve difficult problems under harsh time constraints. My goal is to train my students to succeed in their studies but more importantly, I intend to train them to think like an engineer to solve any problem that comes their way.

I like to begin our first session with a free in-person meet and greet with the student and parent to get to know one another and then discuss the student’s area of weakness in a subject. Once the areas of weakness are identified, I develop a rigorous study/work plan to ensure my students have the best chance of success in that subject(s).
