About Brian
I am a UC Berkeley graduate with dedicated tutoring experience for students of all ages! I have prior experience working one-on-one with middle school, high school, and college level students. Online tutoring sessions can be personalized to help students tackle anything from difficult homework problems to college admissions help. Please feel free to reach out with inquiries!
I've always loved being able to help students tackle hard problems and difficult concepts -- the look of satisfaction and joy that comes over a student's face when a concept finally clicks is something you simply can't beat!
I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley (magna cum laude) with a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in Data Science.
Professionally, I have worked through Berkeley's Student Learning Center (SLC) to provide group-tutoring and lecture style review sessions for undergraduate Economics students.
I have also worked extensively with elementary, middle, and high school students on individualized homework help, topic instruction, and college essay revisions.

I love to get to know the students I work with personally before getting into the nitty-gritty work. From the onset, I want students to know that learning/tutoring sessions can be exciting; tutoring doesn't have to be a monotonous or dreaded task. In my first session, I'd like to get a feel for what a student identifies as his/her particular pain-points and academic challenges, as well as any interests they may have outside of the classroom.
1st - 12th grade students; 1st and 2nd year undergraduate students.
