About Wale
Being able to improve on concepts learnt at school, and translate them to real world applications after graduating. I have a Bachelors Degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Illinois, after which I was an engineer for 3 years before joining an engineering consulting firm. I've gathered a dense knowledge-base from both schooling and working in the industry.
Having the opportunity to spark someone's interest by establishing a solid foundation, making them more aware of the subject and if it's something they would want to learn more about in the future.
By starting as a teaching assistant my sophomore year at university. By junior year I was able to teach an intro to engineering class to new students.
BS. Nuclear Engineering

Look for someone who you can hold a conversation with. A lot of people in Math and Sciences have strong book knowledge, but lack with social knowledge. Try to find someone who has a good mix of both.
SpaceX establishing a robust system of re-using rockets. It's pretty incredible how quickly they achieved that.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Fundamentals, fundamentals, and fundamentals. You can't drive a race car without knowing how to drive a go kart. Think of the fundamentals of the question you're being asked because that will steer you in the right direction.
