About Eowyn

I have experience tutoring junior high and high school students in math. My focus is pre-algebra and Algebra 1. I have tutored math for grades 6-9.

Teaching English grammar and punctuation is another specialty of mine. I enjoy teaching students about parts of speech, parts of the sentence, clauses and phrases, and more.

I enjoy helping students find math solutions. They gain a confidence and understanding of math that continues to propel them to be successful in advanced classes.

The English language can seem tough to learn, but I try to simplify it for students by starting with the basics. Once the basics are mastered, it takes away the mystery, and students understand how our language is built. That knowledge gives them the tools to express their thoughts on paper confidently.

I am a college grad with a bachelor's degree. I got As in every math and English class I took in college. I also homeschool my 3 children (up through grade 10), so I have a lot of teaching experience.
