About Wren

Hi, I’m a singing tutor with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Voice. I’m passionate about helping students build vocal confidence and overcome performance anxiety. Music is more than just hitting notes—it’s about connecting emotionally with every song you sing. I teach a variety of styles including Pop, Indie, R&B, and Contemporary Worship. My lessons focus on breath control, expressive phrasing, and maintaining vocal health, so you can sing powerfully and safely. I also offer live performance coaching to help you shine on stage. Whether you’re a shy beginner, a teen performer, or an aspiring recording artist, I tailor my teaching to fit your needs. I believe every voice is unique and deserves to be heard. Together, we’ll unlock your full potential and find your authentic sound. Singing should be a joyful journey, not a stressful task. I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way. Let’s discover your voice and enjoy making music together!

For The Orchestra Member, the approach centers on strengthening music literacy and sight-singing to enhance ensemble performance. We begin with focused notation reading exercises, breaking down scores into manageable segments. Interval training sharpens their ability to recognize pitch relationships, crucial for blending with others. Rhythm exercises develop precision and timing, ensuring they stay locked in with the group. Harmony building comes next, helping them understand their part within the full texture. Regular use of sight-singing apps and rhythm trainers keeps practice engaging and effective. Through steady practice, they develop a strong ear-mind-voice connection, making sight-reading more intuitive and confident. For The Crossover Artist, the method adapts to a broader musical style but maintains core skills. We emphasize notation reading to navigate diverse genres, from classical to pop. Interval training strengthens melodic intuition, while rhythm exercises build groove and feel. Harmony building supports creativity and arrangement skills, essential for genre blending. Sight-singing apps and notation tools offer flexible, on-the-go learning, perfect for busy schedules. As they practice regularly, the connection between what they hear, think, and sing deepens, fueling expressive performance. Both personas grow through encouragement and consistent practice, turning technical skills into natural musicality.
