About Shirley
I can truly relate. I was once obese and lost 100+ lbs through proper nutrition and exercise.
I work with the person. I find out what they have tried before and why did it not work for them. I also ask lots of questions concerning their eating (likes and dislikes), any limitations whether they are physical or nutritional. I like to also know about their family life and work life, whether they have support at home and work in order to work towards their goals. I also make sure their goals are realistic.
I have worked at different gyms through out Hernando county such as Golds Gym and Anytime Fitness. Along with some independent gyms. I have also taught various fitness classes stemming from Zumba to Bootcamps.
I am also well versed in finding modifications in exercises so that my client can be fully engaged in all that we do together.
I am a nationally qualified female bodybuilder and in women's physique. I have been involved in the fitness industry since 2004. I was a volunteer coach for Nature Coast HS girls weightlifting team. I helped the girls learn proper form when lifting and also trained them in cardiovascular exercises.
