About Tara
Hello and welcome to my page. My name is Tara and I come to you with 15 years of experience as a trainer, tutor, and professional who gives quality results and not words. With a Bachelors's degree in Health Services Administration, a pre-medicine student, and a mother of three beautiful children, I revolve around quality education that will help you to achieve your understanding of difficult concepts in Biology, Biochemistry, Physics, and, last but not least, Math. My easy-to-understand concepts will help you to quickly understand your problem areas in these science courses and help you retain the knowledge solidly. I am compassionate to teach others and help them overcome their weaknesses by making them more confident and focused on learning. Whether it's revising work done in class or homework, I am here to help you towards guaranteed success. My timings are flexible and I work with every student individually at their own pace. I love Science. Some students think that it's hard. Thats because when a foundation for the subject lacks information that was needed for the student to know but was not provided then that can create a learning gap for students. We are all learners and to overcome our fears and weakness we must be open to new learning and changes.
I taught these courses to my nieces, nephews and then to my own children. I have taken college Chemistry, Biology, and Physics at the community college here in Colorado Springs.
I have tutored science to include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Math to a number of students. I am a pre-med student myself and constantly learning upper-level science courses.

I would like students to let me know what areas their strengths and weaknesses are. This gives me a general idea of what I need to work on. Sometimes this can be a foundational concept that's missing in the piece. Also, if the student can share with me the documents before learning sessions or the topics they need to review on, that will help me better prepare to teach the information when I meet with the student, one on one, online.
I have worked with all sorts of students-from someone who is just entering a course to a student who is just needing extra help. I can work with a diverse number of students depending on their levels.

Details
My price per hour is $30. I prefer online, however, for in person will teach only at a library setting. If the student is in Denver are, I am able to meet in Castle Rock at a public library. For Colorado Springs, PPCC is available to meet.
