I have been a formal instructor at college and high school levels. At Rutgers University, I served as a Teaching Intern (TI) for Chemistry for 3 years, a Teaching Assistant for Chemistry Lab, Supplemental Instructor for Rutger's ODASIS program, biochemistry/physics/biology private tutor.
I have also been awarded a Certificate in Chemistry Education (CCE) in May of 2019.

During first session, I review the student's syllabus and/or timeline for an upcoming exam if needed. I then briefly provide a layout of how we would structure our upcoming meetings. Then, we would start with a tutoring session as we would normally have. After our first meeting, I'll have a better idea of what notes/practice questions to provide the student for future meetings. The student will then have until the following meeting day to decide if he/she would like to continue tutoring with me, after which tutoring sessions would be charged.

Details
I typically charge $50 per hour. However, students have enough on their plate and don't need to stress about finishing tutoring under a time limit for financial reasons. I also can work with students to figure out what rate they are most comfortable with and am quite flexible.
