I love to teach and share my passion for music to the next generations. I believe that supportive and encouraging atmosphere does not only influence a student's piano progress but overall their character and the way they perceive life. I love to see my students progress in piano, develop as humans, and grow up to become people set up for success in whatever career they decide to pursue. Piano lessons are not only about piano and music but about shaping character, developing extremely valuable skills and traits like discipline, patience, perserverence, and confidence in life.

I was born to a musical family and I always loved music. I started taking piano lessons when I was 7 years old. Later on, in college, I found out that I have a great passion for teaching and I've been teaching ever since.

I have Bachelor and Master of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy. I have been teaching piano to all kinds of children since 1985.

First, a free introductory meeting, called an interview is set up. If a student is just starting to play the piano, I will evaluate and decide whether they are ready to have piano lessons. In case of an already playing student, I will assess their skill level and create an appropriate personalized study plan.

During my 35 years of teaching, I have worked with all kinds of students you can imagine. My youngest student was 3 years old and the oldest (beginner) 70 years young.

Look for a teacher who pays attention to details, a teacher who always challenges you, a teacher that encourages you to have short-term goals like competitions, a teacher that encourages and motivates you.

One of the recent highlights is my student winning grand prix (the highest place possible) at a prestigious international competition XIV Sonatina and Sonata International Piano Competition.
