About Erickson

I teach ONE vocal exercise for all genres! You'll learn how to do it in five minutes! I’ll teach the theory of making all the sounds you want to make, then we’ll go full force into creating the sound you want! It’s that simple!

I had to start because I needed it for a grade. I enjoy helping others find their voice, so I continue to teach. Also, I hate seeing the mediocrity of many other teachers, so I need to show more students how easy it is to learn to sing!



I have a Bachelor’s degree in music, but that’s irrelevent as many people with degrees still can’t sing or teach after graduating. I’ve done a lot of research and study for my own singing. Now that I am secure in my technique, I am qualified to teach rather than simply certified by some college degree.

Teach the student the theory of making any sound they choose with their voice, then teach my one exercise to strengthen the voice, then work with the student on making the sounds they want for singing.



Various styles. Very few classical singers, though I was classically trained. A majority of the students sing musical theater or pop.



If you can’t get even slightly better each time you see your teacher, find a new one. “You’re my fifth teacher in two years. You’ve progressed me farther in one hour than the others have in two years!” “I’ve been taking lessons for a year, and she never tried to make my voice better. She just worked with what I already had. She didn’t push me to get better. I didn’t know I could sing low or sing loud.” “I’m just so relieved my voice doesn’t hurt. After my voice lessons, I would be so hoarse, that i couldn’t speak.”
