About Richard
I have been training in Kenpo Karate for 20 years. I love martial arts. I teach the "why's" of Kenpo, not just the "how's" based on the rules and principals of motion.
I started teaching as so as I got my yellow belt. Our instructor told us that if we taught what we just learned then we would be better students.
I'm a second degree black belt in this art.

I start off with the basics and work on refining them. It's just like attending school. We start out with elementry school (the basics), middle school (techniques) and high school (forms). Then the college coures are when you obtain the rank of black belt.
Each students are very different, and they work at their own pace. I try to get insight to each of them. I learn more about each type of student in my class. I make a series of recommendations to make their classes more effective for each student.
Hire one with real world experience. Not just someone who was promoted to teach the kids classes.
