About Brenda

Brenda Christophersen, an Ohio native, is a classically trained soprano, cellist and pianist. She attended both The Ohio State University and Kent State University as a scholarship recipient to study music performance.

I love working with my students to help guide them to discover their musical gifts!

After the birth of my second child, I decided to begin teaching middle and high school students to help support my growing family. I grew to love working with my students and endeavor to provide a caring, professional, and challenging environment in which to assist them in their vocal growth.

About the lesson

I work hard with each student to develop a plan that best suits their individual needs which allows them the freedom to blossom as both a singer and person.

I generally work with ages 13 to adult. Because I focus on advanced technique, I do not advise taking formal lessons prior to age 13. That said, I do coach younger ages for auditions.
