I took a vocal performance class from Tara recently. She is an incredibly gifted, talented, and accomplished professional singer and pianist. The truly incredible thing about her is how she can take her knowledge and experience and use it to effectively teach her students and help them to reach their potential.
She is able to meet all students where they are in terms of ability and achievements, and she perfectly tailors her approach to instruction to best suit each individual.
I have had several music instructors, and she was the best. I highly recommend her as your teacher.

Tara has been giving voice lessons to me for about 5 years. Her positive attitude has been a source of confidence building for me. Her knowledge of how to engage the voice for optimum results is what I wanted to learn. It does not happen overnight. We work on various warm-up patterns which involve different parts of the anatomy, such as breath control, enunciation, posture, all training the brain to combine these efforts for desired results. I enjoy the process; and the results. Even though I have been singing for all of my life (age 78) I know I sound better, having learned important techniques from Tara. Because I am in my church choir, I use my newly learned skills weekly.

Choosing songs from a variety of genres: 50's music; Italian songs; songs from familiar musicals, keeps the lessons fresh.

I consider Tara an exceptional voice instructor and over the years, I've utilized at least 8 or 9 teachers. Tara finds vocal tools that improve my vocal ability and, perhaps more importantly, my understanding of vocal objectives which improves my awareness and focus for improvement.
