Heidi is an incredible teacher. She is always working to help me achieve my musical goals. As a voice instructor, she has helped me strengthen my diaphragm, find proper placement, and cast aside stubborn self doubt. She is an extremely proficient piano player, singer, and songwriter, as well as a great person to talk with. I would recommend her to anyone looking for voice, piano, guitar, or other musical instruction in the Atlanta area.

I have found Heidi to be a delight. She is a well qualified, and experienced working musician. But what sets her apart is her patient attention to your progress, as her student.

I have tried to learn guitar for most of my life, starting at around 12. My teachers either made me feel intimidated or frustrated. I tried one more time in my late 40's with a new teacher-- Heidi Pollyea. That was around 8 years ago and I am still eagerly looking forward to my weekly lesson with her. She not only knows music inside and out, she knows how to teach. She is always encouraging, patient, and most importantly, fun! Even if I haven't been able to practice, she just happily picks up where we left off and by the end of the lesson I am ready to play again and enjoy my guitar. It is hard to put I to words how much I have enjoyed my lessons with Heidi. I recommend anyone, young person or adult, who has wanted to learn guitar (and voice and piano), but feels intimidated, frustrated, or shy, to take a chance on the best music teacher I have ever met.
