About Bryan
I'm a compassionate and supportive teacher interested in enabling each student to learn at their own pace and develop a lasting and positive relationship with music. I enjoy all styles of music, and focus primarily on classical and jazz.
I love guiding students as they learn concepts and skills. I find it really meaningful and fun to get to know each student's unique personality. And it's always fun to celebrate accomplishments and breakthroughs with my students!
I was fortunate to have wonderful role models and teachers all the way through my development as a young musician. They inspired me to develop my artistic skills and learn to teach. I gained a lot of teaching experience as required by my Bachelor's degree, and have been teaching saxophone lessons since 2010.
I have a Bachelor's degree in music education and saxophone performance from SUNY Fredonia, and Master's degrees in saxophone performance and arts administration from Florida State University.
I've worked as a freelance performer in New York City for the past three years, and have worked as a music administrator for the past five years.
