About Joshua
*** I teach voice lessons both on Zoom and in-person. ***
I am a professional opera singer and I have been singing for over 30 years. I have a bachelor's, master's and doctorate degree in vocal performance from the best universities and conservatories. I have sung over 500 performances of opera in Austria, Italy, Germany, and the United States. I have the experience to teach singers how to use their voices effectively and expressivley. I teach a variety of styles of singing, including opera, classical, contemporary, musical theater, R&B, Country, etc. I love teaching all types of singers.
I love when my voice students make huge progress in their singing. My whole goal is to give my students all the tools they need to reach their potential as singers. It is quite amazing to see so much growth in the first 4 months of my voice students' voices.
I have a Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate in vocal performance.

I typically give a free trial lesson to new students. I have my new student do a series of vocal exercises and warm-ups. I then make an assesment of the student's voice and make goals. I give a brief overview of how the voice works and how to work on vocal technique. I then have my student sing a simple song and I give him or her tools to improve.
