About Christian

🏛️ My name is Jan, and I'm a student at Harvard, who also received two offers from UCL to study Biology and Medical Sciences respectively.

✅My students have been admitted to UCL, UPenn, and achieved 1550+ SAT scores. I have been a college application consultant for over 2 years. I'm also a mentor at YourPathAcademy.

🥇I only tutor a select few students at a time to ensure I can provide live support, maximum availability, and personalized sessions. Each session is custom prepared for you.

🔑Proven approach to college essay writing. I have helped write 10s of essays with students who went on to be admitted to top colleges (e.g. UPenn).

💻3 years experience as an online tutor.

Many friends I helped with their own applications / SAT told me to get tutoring because they found my help useful and insighftul. I really loved the idea, and enjoy working with younger students (I've worked as a summer camp counsellor every summer since I was 14!).

When school went online for a long time and my final exams were intially completely cancelled I had enough time on my hands to get started with tutoring, and so it began:)

Harvard Class of 2025 , admitted to 2 global top 10 universities, and tutored 10s of students and friends both online and in person over the course of the last 3 years.

About the lesson

We will start with a call to discuss your needs and strategise how to best achieve them. After this call, we will plan for a few sessions ahead, including work for the student to do between each session so that we are both on the same page with our expectations: now we are ready to get going!

My students are international, and from varied backgrounds, ranging from prestigious public schools in big cities, to private international schools or small town state schools. Some start of getting 700+ on math for example, and others start with a 300-400. Some improve exponentially almost immediately, others take time to start improving. My tutoring is there for all:)
