About Kyla
I am a first-year student at the University of Otago studying Psychology and Mathematics. I have 4 years of experience tutoring high school students in math. I graduated dux at my high school and gained all Excellence credits at NCEA Level 3 (170+ credits) as well as four NZQA scholarships in calculus, statistics, English, and chemistry. I was also one of the top 15 students nationally selected for the NZ Mathematical Olympiad training squad and have represented NZ at prestigious international math competitions.

I am currently offering tutoring for:
- NCEA Levels 1–3 Mathematics
- NCEA Level 3 Calculus
- Preparation for math competitions (math olympiads, Otago Problem Challenge, ICAS math, etc.)
- General extension math for high-achieving students
Each lesson will be 1 hour long and are tailored to the student based on their abilities. I get straight to the point when helping students achieve their goals. I aim to provide clear explanations to concepts, helping students become more confident when tackling challenging math problems.
Lessons will be conducted online, but in-person tutoring (in Dunedin) may be possible by arrangement.
