About Ishika Soni

Hi! I'm Ishika and I'm currently studying Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne, with guaranteed entry into the Doctor of Medicine, under the Chancellor’s scholarship. I am extremely passionate about studying medicine, and aspire to become an anesthesiologist. I graduated from Queensland's top performing school, QASMT (Queensland Academy for Science, Mathematics and Technology) in 2020 with a perfect IB (International Baccalaureate) score of 45. This is equivalent to an ATAR of 99.95, meaning that I achieved an A in QCAA for all of my subjects. In particular, I got 99% for Maths, 99% for Spanish, 97% for Chemistry, 96% for Biology, and 92% for Economics.

About the lesson

I offer tutoring for Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, English and Spanish. My aim is to challenge students to reach their full potential so that they can achieve their long-term academic goals. I do this by preparing them for their exams, as well as helping with assignments, whether it be at the initial stage or reviewing their drafts. Having completed all the practice papers available, I also have a personalised bank of past paper questions, which I use to familiarise my students with exam-style questions. In the past 2.5 years, I've helped students by proofreading and providing feedback on their IAs that aligns with IB/ QCAA criteria. I have a strong academic background in the subjects I tutor, and I am well-versed in the latest curriculum and requirements.

Additionally, I can help prepare for NAPLAN, ICAS, as well as entrance exams (such as edutest). I have been tutoring since 2021 and have 1000+ hours of experience in tutoring. All my students have graduated with an IB score of 44+ (ATAR 99.6+) and with my results-driven tutoring approach, I can help you achieve such results as well.

I am also happy to supply comprehensive notes, sample exam responses, and final assignments (for students to use as an exemplar). I achieved a 23/24 for my final biology assignment, 22/24 for chemistry, 19/20 for maths, and 14/14, 13/14, 14/14 for economics. I am currently only doing online tutoring due to time constraints, with the cost depending on the year level:
