About Jonathan
The only thing I enjoy more than teaching is game design. I've spent most of my student and adult life teaching and studying game design and by extension mathematics and computer science. I'm always seeking to learn, discover and teach new things in these fields (as well as general science on the side). I would consider myself to be an excellent tutor. While I can't guarantee my teaching style will work for you, I can tell you I am very proud of the results my students have achieved and the fantastic projects they have made. I love being on the forefront of technology and have taken a keen interest and aptitude to Virtual Reality. A unique experience I can provide is using VR to improve understanding of 3D concepts as well as teach you how to make VR applications yourself.

I use hands-on teaching methods where I can help my students understand and apply game design and computer science subjects in context. I can help students make the games of their own design. Even virtual reality and multiplayer games are no problem and can be broken up into easy steps that will allow for astounding progress. My lessons are typically 1 or 2 hours long, depending on the needs of the student. They can be broken up into smaller sessions over a longer period if a student needs periodic help with an extended project. I have 3 years of experience teaching applied mathematics in game design and VR game design at a university level as well as experience teaching 9-12 year olds mathematics. I'm confident I can teach Game Design, Computer Science and Mathematics at any level.
