About Isobel
I am passionate about teaching music and have been doing so for 4 years now. My aim is to make music accessible to all students! For leaving cert students, I believe LC music is very doable, once taught correctly - it’s systematic and there are formulas involved. All beginner music students I have taught in the past, passed their leaving certs with H1/H2. I have also taught beginner violin to students who were then accepted into the Royal Irish Academy of Music.

I teach music grinds online/from home and teach violin from home.
For younger students, I incorporate a number of games into my teaching for a more engaging learning experience.
I typically follow the colour strings method for younger/beginner violin students.

Isobel really assisted me during my Leaving Cert music exams. I had never studied music before 5th year and when I picked it up I went to Isobel for Grinds once a week for the two years and she helped me raise my final grade from a H5 to a H2 which was actually my highest grade and best subject in my Leaving Cert.
