About ABHISHEK

"I have more than five years of experience as a technical subject teacher. I have experience working with preschool and kindergarten-age students. I have also tutored middle school students in reading, as well as college and high school students. Through these tutoring and counseling positions, I have learned how to best teach each age group. For example, I created songs to teach my three-year-old campers the camp rules, but I gave my college student daily quizzes to help her prepare for exams.
In my career, I’ve found that the most challenging students are the ones who don’t apply themselves. We all see their potential, but they sit in the back, don’t pay attention and don’t seem to care about their future. It is these types of students that I really try to reach out to. I’ve seen kids start really trying when it’s too late to get into college and it can be heartbreaking. So, I take them aside to let them know that someone is rooting for them and that I am invested in their future. I’ve seen students really turn themselves around when they know that someone is in their corner holding them accountable for their studies.I still remember my excitement when my calculus student received her first “A” on a quiz!

About the lesson

“I am studying mechanical engineering in one of the top college of India.I have cracked IIT-JEE-MAINS one of the toughest exam of india.I’ve known from an early age that helping others grow is where my true passion lies. When I was in 11th grade I sat down with my favorite teacher to get a better understanding of the job and if it was something that I should pursue. I was so inspired by her love for learning and desire to make a change that I knew there was no other option for me.”
I always like it when I keep myself busy, where multitasking helps me. Taking the Johari window test, the results showed I am creative, possess leadership qualities and I am an extrovert, by others too. I have a lot of patience to carry out a particular task and I don't let my concentration wander in between.
I’m a person who thrives in a fast-paced environment so right now I’m looking for an opportunity to apply my technical experience and my creative problem solving skills at an innovative platform like this one.
In addition to those interests and passions, my professional life is a huge part of who I am, so I'd like to talk a bit about some of the strengths which I would bring to this job.I am chess-freak,love to solve puzzles and music is the key to rest.”
