About Katherine

My approach relies on the rigorous training I received during my BFA program at Concordia University.
We spend time on power chords and lead guitar mechanics to ensure your hands develop correctly. Because I have 10 years of experience, I can quickly identify where your progress stalls. My methods guarantee you will see tangible results in your playing. I am ready to guide your musical development.

Sometimes I think the best way to understand music involves picking up the instrument before even thinking about theory. I have taught 189 students over 10 years, ranging from hobbyists to advanced players. My Bachelor of Fine Arts degree provides a structured foundation for my technical guidance. I specialize in electric technique, scales, and complex fingerpicking styles.
