About Amina

I am an advanced language scholar and researcher currently pursuing an M.Phil. in Applied Linguistics, backed by a comprehensive Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature. My deep academic immersion in literature and the structural mechanics of language, specifically syntax, phonetics, and discourse analysis, drives my passion for teaching. I chose online tutoring to effectively bridge the gap between complex language theories and practical student success. My ultimate goal is to transform English into an accessible, high-scoring subject rather than a source of exam anxiety. I take great pride in guiding young minds to unlock their academic potential, refine their communication skills, and build the structural confidence required to excel in local Matric/FSc board exams as well as international Cambridge O and A Level examinations. In addition to school boards, I offer specialised academic coaching for university students pursuing a BS in English or taking mandatory Functional English and Expository Writing courses. I guide undergraduates through the mechanics of academic essay architecture, thesis statement formulation, structural coherence, and rigorous discourse analysis. Whether you need to master expository writing styles, clarify complex linguistic theories, or polish your university research papers, my sessions are designed to elevate your academic writing to an advanced level.

About the lesson

My online classes are concept-driven, highly interactive, and rigorously customized to each student's unique curriculum framework. My expertise is simplifying complex English grammar, syntax, and literary text analysis into digestible chunks. For Matric and FSc board exams, I place strong emphasis on translation mechanics, objective grammar marks, and accurate paper presentation skills. My lessons for Cambridge AS and A Level students now focus on vocabulary development, critical essay structure, and in-depth thematic analysis. A typical 60-minute lesson includes real-time digital writing practice, step-by-step textbook revision, and focused feedback using previous exam marking schemes. I design my coaching sessions to help middle and high school students overcome exam anxiety, develop independent critical thinking, and master the academic writing skills needed to earn top grades.
