About Matthew
Teaching English is my passion, and over the past 12 years, I have had the privilege of helping high school and college students improve their skills. I have guided around 150 to 200 learners, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, speaking, writing, and listening.
I believe that confidence is just as important as knowledge, so I create lessons that are practical, interactive, and easy to understand. I encourage students to participate actively, ask questions, and practice regularly. One of my proudest achievements is seeing students who were once hesitant or shy gradually become confident English speakers.
Many of my students have improved academically, gained communication skills, and developed lifelong confidence. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and supportive. My goal is to help students succeed and enjoy learning English.

My teaching approach is built on the belief that every student can become confident in English with the right support and guidance. I focus on communication, flexibility, creativity, accountability, and integrity in every lesson. I first understand each student's goals, strengths, and areas that need improvement before creating a personalized learning plan.
My lessons develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation together so students gain complete language skills. I use conversations, storytelling, role-playing, group discussions, interactive activities, and real-life situations to make learning practical and enjoyable. I encourage students to speak English regularly because confidence grows through consistent practice.
I understand that every learner progresses differently, so I adjust my teaching methods and lesson pace whenever needed. I provide regular revision, personalized feedback, and extra practice to strengthen difficult topics. Students are encouraged to ask questions freely, and I create a positive classroom where mistakes are seen as opportunities to learn.
Accountability is an important part of my teaching. I monitor progress, set achievable goals, and motivate students to continue improving. Integrity means treating every learner with honesty, patience, and respect while providing reliable guidance throughout their learning journey.
Besides ESL, I teach Spoken English, English Grammar, Conversational English, Business English, Academic English, Vocabulary Development, Pronunciation, Reading Skills, Writing Skills, Listening Skills, English Literature, Communication Skills, Creative Writing, Public Speaking, Presentation Skills, Interview Preparation, IELTS foundation, TOEFL foundation, and English for school, college, university, and workplace communication. My goal is to help every learner communicate naturally and confidently in English.
