I am a dedicated and patient math tutor currently pursuing degrees in Statistics and Economics at Texas A&M University. With a strong academic background in mathematics and analytical problem-solving, I am passionate about helping students not only improve their grades, but also build lasting confidence in their abilities.

I understand that math can feel overwhelming for many students, which is why I focus on creating a supportive, encouraging, and judgment-free learning environment. My goal is to make difficult concepts easier to understand through clear explanations, structured lessons, and consistent practice. I take pride in being reliable, professional, and fully committed to each student’s progress.

As a current college student, I bring a modern and relatable perspective to tutoring. I am familiar with the challenges students face in today’s classrooms and know how to adapt lessons to fit different learning styles and academic goals. Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for exams, or getting ahead in class, I work patiently to ensure they feel comfortable and confident every step of the way.

About the lesson

As a Statistics and Economics major at Texas A&M University, I understand that every student learns differently, especially in math.

My teaching approach focuses on breaking down difficult concepts into simple, understandable steps while building confidence and problem-solving skills. I create a supportive and patient learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. My lessons are highly personalized based on the student’s current level, goals, and learning style.

1. I typically begin by reviewing previous material and identifying any gaps in understanding.
2. Then, I introduce new concepts step-by-step with clear explanations, examples, and guided practice problems. I also focus on helping students understand *why* formulas and methods work rather than just memorizing procedures.
3. At the end of each session, we review key ideas and practice independently to strengthen understanding.

What sets me apart is my ability to explain math in a relatable and less intimidating way. As a college student actively using advanced math and statistics in my coursework, I understand the challenges students face and how to make concepts more approachable. I combine patience, strong communication, and real academic experience to help students improve both their grades and confidence.

I teach students from elementary math through Calculus II, including subjects such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus.

My lessons are ideal for middle school, high school, and early college students who want homework help, test preparation, stronger fundamentals, or long-term academic improvement.
