About Marianna

I am the founder of London GCSE Academy, a specialized tuition hub dedicated to high-performance results in Mathematics, Science, and English. When you book a lesson with me, you aren't just getting a tutor; you are gaining access to a structured, tech-driven educational system designed for the modern student.

Our approach is built on three pillars:

Tech-Driven Learning: Using my background as a Software Engineer, I utilize interactive online boards where students can access their full lesson history and high-quality digital materials at any time.

Curriculum Alignment: We specialize in the UK National Curriculum (GCSE/A-Level) and the Australian Curriculum (NAPLAN/ATAR). We understand the specific marking criteria required to move from a Grade 3 to a 5, or a Grade 7 to a 9.

Bilingual Support: We are unique in offering lessons in both English and Ukrainian, making us a top choice for international families and displaced students seeking top-tier British or Australian qualifications.

Our Team & Subjects
While I personally lead the Mathematics department, the London GCSE Academy consists of full-time, qualified educators. By joining my program, I can also coordinate expert support for your child in:

English Language & Literature: Led by specialists with 20+ years of experience and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics): Led by our Senior Science Specialist with a Master’s in Education and a track record of placing students in Oxford, Yale, and Stanford.

Global Reach: Based in London, but experienced in supporting students across Australia (HSC/VCE) and Europe.

Who the Lessons Are For
UK Students: Comprehensive preparation for KS3 and GCSE.

Australian Students: Tailored support for Year 7–10 and Senior Secondary ATAR pathways (Maths Methods/Specialist).

International/Bilingual Students: Specialist support for those needing English or Ukrainian instruction.

About the lesson

As the founder of London GCSE Academy (LGA), I combine my professional background in Software Engineering with a passion for pedagogy to help students see the "why" behind the numbers.

My lessons go beyond standard tutoring by offering:

Clear, Simple Steps: Breaking down complex concepts into manageable, logical building blocks.

Interactive Problem-Solving: Using digital tools and real-time collaboration to make abstract ideas visible.

A Supportive Environment: I encourage questions and create a high-trust space where students feel confident learning from mistakes.

Full Lesson History: Students gain access to a permanent record of our sessions for easier revision and long-term retention.

Every lesson is tailored to the student’s specific curriculum—whether that is the UK National Curriculum (GCSE/A-Level) or the Australian ATAR/NAPLAN pathways—with regular assessments to ensure we are hitting target grade boundaries.
